About the Global Trading Group (Pty) Ltd

 

The Global Trading Group (GTG Packaging Systems) was founded in 1987. Through the partnership with Newlong Japan, our primary task was in the sales and servicing of bag closing and bag making equipment. In the years to follow, though growth and customer demand, we expanded our product range to incorporate consumables and equipment to the milling and allied industries.

GTG Packaging began operating in 1998 as an independent company due to the diverse packaging needs from our customers. Our product range has grown from year to year, where we can offer customised packaging on any scale. No company is too big or too small.

Our printing company "GTG Printing" manufactured its first label in September 2000 and has grown from a single press to four presses, supplying customers from a blank to an eight colour label.

Today, we are one of the biggest importers and exporters of industrial and packaging products, with Africa becoming our fastest growing customer base.

We have not forgotten where we came from and maintain a strong relationship with our local industry who have supported us loyally over the past years.
